(2) Classification by processing method(zinc casting)
According to the processing method, zinc alloys are mainly divided into three categories: cast alloy, deformed alloy and hot-dip galvanized alloy.
Casting alloy can be divided into pressure casting alloy and gravity casting alloy. Among them, Zn Al alloy and Zn Cu Ti alloy can be cast directly and deformed. Zn Al alloy has attracted great attention because of its superplasticity.
(3) Classification by performance and purpose(zinc casting)
Creep resistant zinc alloy, that is, the above-mentioned Zn Cu Ti alloy, can produce required parts through deformation or directly die-casting products. Superplastic zinc alloy refers to Zn Al Binary Alloy. It can show very high elongation under certain microstructure and deformation conditions. It is unique for machining some complex parts. The alloy has been studied and applied in the United States, Britain and Japan. The tensile strength of superplastic zinc alloy can exceed that of copper and aluminum alloy, and even reach or exceed the level of mild steel. It is superplastic at about 270 ℃, easy to process and form, and has the advantages of corrosion resistance and low cost of zinc.
